Based in Houston, Texas, the Gulf Coast Geological Library has served the exploration community since 1967. Our mission is to collect, organize, and preserve historical and contemporary geological, geophysical, and petroleum engineering data—and make these resources accessible to the public.
GCGL provides members with timely, high-quality information, including well logs, maps, production data, well histories, historical scout tickets (multiple collections), driller’s logs, paleo reports, core analyses, and velocity surveys.
Since its founding, the library has grown to more than 472,000 well logs and over 7,000,000 pages of scout tickets across our core Gulf Coast coverage.
